
Speaking Engagement Agreement
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT
This agreement is made on ___________________ between WebinarCon (Event Organizer) and _________________________________ (Event Speaker).
The Conference Organizer and Speaker agree to the following:

- Event Description: WebinarCon Annual Conference
- Location of event: The Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes - 4012 Central Florida Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837
Event Setup: Speaker will have a cordless lapel mic or handheld and a small table for notes, water, etc. (if needed). Screens and projectors are also included for presentation slides.
In the event Speaker is unable, for any reason, including professional responsibility, prevented from appearing, the Speaker shall notify the conference organizer immediately. Speaker will be responsible for reimbursement of any associated appearance costs (if applicable).
Event Promotion: Speaker grants the Conference Organizer to use Speaker’s likeness, photo, video, and audio impressions in connection with promoting the event. Speaker can also include event information in any platform highlighting where the Speaker will be – such as appearance page on website or social media channels. Conference organizer will provide marketing materials if the speaker chooses to post.
Recording/Streaming: The speaker grants the right for the presentation to be streamed live to virtual attendees. Speaker understands that these images/sounds/ recordings may be used for commercial, educational. promotional or informational purposes. While Speaker retains rights to their content, Speaker waives all rights of copyright or ownership in or to the resulting commercial, educational and informational materials in which they appear, and acknowledge no monetary or other compensation is provided in exchange for waiving this right.
Presentation Details: Speaker agrees to check in at least one hour prior to the beginning of Session and make themselves available for a conference call to discuss details and technology testing prior to the event at a mutually agreed upon date.
Speaker understands that no sales presentations are permitted during the Session (unless authorized by WebinarCon in advance) and Speaker will refrain from making promotional and marketing statements related to their company, service, or website.
Case studies involving the Speaker's company, service or website will be permitted if presented in a historical nature and not intended as a marketing plug. Speaker may include a lead magnet in their presentation for the purposes of capturing email addresses only.
Adherence to FTC Guidelines
The Speaker agrees to ensure that all claims made during their presentation are verifiable and comply with FTC guidelines. WebinarCon disclaims any liability for misrepresentations or non-compliant content presented by the Speaker.
Dates and Deadlines:
Speaker shall provide presentation and any worksheets for attendees (if using slides) by Monday, November 3rd, 2024.
Please note, there is no profanity allowed during the Speaker’s Session.
Applicable Law: This Agreement is entered into and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America.
Entire Agreement: This writing contains the full essence of the Agreement between the parties hereto and there are no other representations or understandings, either verbal or written, between the parties.
The representative signing this agreement warrants that s/he signs as a duly authorized representative of the Speaker and understands and agree to the guidelines outlined in this agreement.
